Back Bay Paintings

I do not paint on location but prefer to work in the comfort of my studio and I’ve also found that I need some distance between the landscape and the painting. I’ve been fascinated by reflections, transitions and fractured images. Recently the landscapes have evolved into a distillation of paintings based on the grasses, twigs, reflections, smells and sounds, the essences of nature’s wonders.
